The night Bachelor Nation has been waiting for finally arrived on Monday night as Matt James made his big decision on The Bachelor season 25 finale followed by an intense After The Final Rose! And boy, was it a wild ride!

Things got emotional as the reality of an impending proposal had Matt questioning everything as he struggled to pick between Michelle and Rachael and the idea of being with them forever. After he broke one heart and made the other happy, it was After The Final Rose time with Emmanuel Acho for some tough conversations and big revelations.

But between the engagement ring shopping session, the breakups, and the emotional journeys who takes the top spot in our rankings on The Bachelor Season 25 finale?

Matt and Michelle - The Bachelor season 25

#1: Michelle

Even though our number one power player this week left the season brokenhearted, her romantic life is about to be so much better! Angel on Earth, Michelle takes the top spot!

Going into her final date with Matt, Michelle was feeling confident after a great meeting with Matt’s family. She was riding the wave of love and ready to take the plunge, literally, into a serious commitment with our Bachelor. Unfortunately for our fave teacher, Matt was struggling way more than she knew, and he ended things that night with not much explanation. Ouch.

Michelle got a little closure on After The Final Rose, including a couple of funny jabs at Matt, before it was announced that she will get her very own shot at love this fall as one of two new Bachelorettes! And Bachelor Nation rejoiced! Michelle deserves this so much and I can’t wait to see her season!

#2: Katie

Second place this week goes to our second leading lady who will have her very own season of The Bachelorette. Fan favorite and boss babe, Katie takes the runner-up spot!

Although she was friend-zoned by Matt at the end of her time on the show, Katie remained a hopeful choice to be the next Bachelorette the instant she didn’t get that rose. And lucky for us we get to see her find true love super soon!

Her announcement came on After The Final Rose and Katie will grace our screens sometime this summer as she journeys to find The One. Two is better than one and I know Bachelor Nation is excited to watch Katie crush it!

#3:  Rachael

Finally this week our third place goes to the lady who thought she had it all before reality came crashing down and it was time to learn some hard lessons. Rachael rounds out our top three.

When Rachael thought it was time for her final date with Matt she was on cloud nine until Chris Harrison appeared at her door and informed her there would be no date. The next day she had a cryptic note to meet at the lake where Matt did not propose, but instead offered the final rose with a promise to commit to a long-term dating relationship.

While we were watching the love unfold on TV, Rachael’s past actions were surfacing and causing turmoil for her relationship with Matt and with Bachelor Nation. After The Final Rose involved some hard conversations revolving around Rachael’s racially insensitive behavior and the revelation that she and Matt are no longer together.

These uncomfortable conversations were definitely a necessary piece to help Rachael as she learns and grows, and we are hopeful that she is putting in that important work.
