The Bachelor Season 25 finale aired last night, and it was a truly dramatic ending to Matt James’ one-of-a-kind season!

The Bachelor Season 25 finale: Best moment: Brother John

I love Matt James‘ brother, John, who was introduced in The Bachelor Season 25 finale! The best thing to happen to The Bachelor in a while, in my opinion. Matt’s mom was awesome as well, but Brother John really hit it out of the park. I could tell that he just did not care that he was on a reality TV show. He was going to treat the girls exactly as if they were sitting at home on his couch.

I found the way he spoke in his interviews to be super genuine and oddly calming. This quote really spoke to me:

"What I’m looking for when it comes to Michelle is not necessarily something that’s spoken. It’s going to be a vibe I’ll be able to pick up…I’ma just keep it real."

I love it. Maybe I also just really enjoy his speaking voice? He almost seemed like a therapist, sitting there on the couch with the women, calmly asking them reflective questions.

Interestingly, Matt’s brother said that he had never seen Matt in any of his relationships before. This was a fascinating peek behind the curtain into Matt’s family and how he handles relationships. We still don’t really know Matt very well, and I for one was pretty caught off guard at how truly closed off he has been in the past. Thank you for this insight, Brother John!
