Chris Harrison has long been the face of The Bachelor franchise, emceeing countless hours of the franchise from Day 1 including the highly anticipated post-season specials including the After the Final Rose special. However, when Bachelor Nation tunes into The Bachelor: After the Final Rose this Monday night they might be surprised to see Harrison MIA and a new face stepping in for the long-time host.
So why exactly won’t Chris Harrison be hosting the After the Final Rose special this season?
In recent weeks, Harrison’s future with the franchise has been up in the air following Harrison’s questionable comments in defense of The Bachelor season 25 contestant Rachael Kirkconnell‘s troublesome past. Following the controversial comments by Harrison, ABC made the decision to put some distance between themselves and the host in opting not to have in back to host this year’s After the Final Rose special.
Who’s hosting After the Final Rose?
With Chris Harrison out, many anticipated ABC might turn to a familiar face from The Bachelor franchise to host the After the Final Rose special; however, ABC decided to shake things up by instead tapping Emmanuel Acho to step in and serve as the host to what is sure to be one of the most-talked-about After the Rose specials in recent years!
