The Bachelorette season 17: Chris Harrison out as The Bachelorette host
By Cody Schultz
Chris Harrison might have plans to return to The Bachelor franchise; however, it seems ABC has other plans in place for The Bachelorette season 17.
Although it’s unclear exactly what the future holds for The Bachelorette season 17 with ABC yet to officially confirm the identity of the next Bachelorette — though there is a lot of speculation about who from Matt James‘ season will lead the next season of the series — or whether Chris Harrison will be back to host the show after stepping aside from the franchise in wake of his controversial comments, it seems ABC has made a bold decision to replace Harrison as host!
Will Chris Harrison return to host The Bachelorette season 17?
Chris Harrison might have served as the host for every season of The Bachelorette dating back to its first season; however, change is coming as Harrison will not return to host The Bachelorette season 17 when the series returns later this year.
As reported by The Bachelor insider Reality Steve, ABC will not be bringing Chris Harrison back to host the upcoming season of the show. Instead, they will try something new in bringing in a pair of beloved Bachelor Nation women to co-host the upcoming season in tapping Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe to host The Bachelorette season 17.
While ABC has not yet commented on the rumor, it’s reported that Adams and Bristowe have made their way to New Mexico along with rumored Bachelorette Katie Thurston, the men of season 17, and the rest of the production team with filming expected to take place at the Hyatt Tamaya in Albuquerque.
