Ready for a wild piece of Bachelor tea? Reality Steve has taken to his blog today to report on some news that will certainly shock fans of the franchise. With Matt James‘ season of The Bachelor about to air its finale next week, it’s understandable that everyone is desperate to know who will win that coveted spot of the next Bachelorette. Rumors had been swirling that Katie Thurston would be named the next lead, while some people speculated other ladies from The Bachelor season 25 would be chosen.

Well, what appears to be the fate for The Bachelorette franchise is very unusual.

Spoilers ahead for

Is Katie Thurston the next Bachelorette?

Reality Steve, who had previously reported that Katie Thurston would serve as Bachelorette for season 17, is now doubling down on that claim. In a story posted on March 10, he writes that Katie will be announced during the After the Final Rose special for The Bachelor season 25, but that’s not all. Apparently, the next two Bachelorettes will be announced.

Is Michelle Young the next Bachelorette?

According to the TV guru, After the Final Rose host Emmanuel Acho will break the news that Michelle Young will also get her own season of The Bachelorette, which is expected to start filming this summer. As fans of The Bachelor season 25 know, Michelle is currently in Matt James’ final two. Rachael Kirkconnell is said to win the season.

So what does this wild news mean for Bachelor Nation? Well, Reality Steve says that Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette will start filming soon, expected to take the usual springtime TV spot. Bachelor in Paradise will be up next, which is said to film in June. Then, Michelle’s season of The Bachelorette will supposedly film right after BiP and will likely air during the fall.

Steve also has some alleged intel about why Michelle Young wasn’t just chosen for The Bachelorette season 17. He claims that the 27-year-old didn’t want to have to leave her students and end the school year early in order to film. If she can film during the summer, of course, she wouldn’t have to miss any school.

Before we get too excited about this, we must remember that as of now, this is just a report. While Reality Steve is usually correct with his reports, none of this is confirmed by ABC yet. We’ll have to tune in for the After the Final Rose special to find out what’s going on for sure.

If Michelle Young is getting her own season, we’re really looking forward to it!
