The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 9: Dramatic moment #2:

After an hour and a half James Harden Matt James finally makes an appearance to face the women he sent home — and the ones who left him

With the Women Tell All almost over, and Chris Harrison having promised Matt would be out soon at each of the last six commercial breaks, Matt finally walked out. And he was sporting a beard that a girlfriend/fiancee would probably not appreciate. Hm.

A nervous Matt, who had never faced so many exes at once, admitted he was surprised by the drama and tried not to hold the women in the house to unrealistic standards since he had no idea how the process felt himself.

Despite sending MJ home for bullying, Matt wished he had more time with her. What? Serena C. quickly chimed in that Matt saw the good and bad in the house and she hoped that she wasn’t seen in a bad light. For translation: Please don’t watch my awful actions for weeks and view me as an awful person.

Matt said there wasn’t one bad person in the house, bringing up noted liar and bully Anna in a positive light specifically. I guess she may be a liar and a bully, but Matt knew her well enough to say that wasn’t her character.

Finally, the worst person in the house had to make herself heard. It was honestly shocking how little Victoria spoke, but while crying, she made sure she let Matt know hurt her feelings were from the experience.

It was a hard learning experience for Victoria, and Matt really hurt her feelings when he sent her home and how she needed to reflect on the whole experience. When she wasn’t bullying the other women, Victoria said she did her best to open up to Matt, and the pain of the experience was why her exit was “a little dramatic.”

Matt, who has obviously learned nothing, told Victoria that he has said nothing but good things about Victoria, and he felt like he dropped the ball in his relationship with her. WHAT?

It was a rather unsurprising, disappointing appearance from Matt, and Chris Harrison quickly transitioned to his beloved bloopers, making fun of Matt for kissing with his eyes open and showing an uncomfortable clip of Serena P. making Matt…too excited.
