The final three: Bri Springs, Michelle Young, and Rachael Kirkconnell

Which one of these ladies has the best chance at taking home Matt James’ final rose in The Bachelor Season 25?

3. Rachael (3-1)

Rachael took Matt skydiving on their hometown date. Wouldn’t have been my choice. Not necessarily because I have a crippling fear of heights and wouldn’t skydive if you paid me a million dollars, but mainly because I just don’t get how it’s a hometown date.

I could be mistaken but I thought she said she’s never done it? Why wouldn’t they do something that enables her to share who she is with him? I’ll take the high road here and won’t touch that one. But I will note that her crash landing was pretty funny.

Bri Springs

2. Bri (15-1)

Bri and Matt really took their relationship to the next level in this past episode (more on this in a moment). She was nervous to take the leap and tell him how she felt but had the support of her strong and loving mother behind her. With her mom’s words of encouragement, Bri told Matt that she’s falling in love with him.

Matt decided that saying, “thank you for sharing that with me” was the best response. It didn’t work for me, but it seemed to have worked for Bri who was elated after their date. Listen, I think Matt actually is really into her. Could they work? Maybe. Will he pick her? I don’t think so. Will she run the beaches of Paradise? You better believe it.

Michelle - The Bachelor season 25
(ABC/Craig Sjodin) MATT JAMES, MICHELLE /

1. Michelle (20-1)

I think Michelle is one of the most well-rounded individuals to ever come on the show. She’s beautiful, funny, smart, caring, and hard-working. On paper, this is who Matt should be choosing ten times out of ten. Will he? I hope so.

But I really don’t know if he will. I’m nervous about how many times she said, “I’m going to go get my hubby” in the last episode. It just seemed like a bit of foreshadowing by the editors. Maybe I’m reading into it too much. It’s just that these two would be a major power couple and I truly think that they’d make an incredible impact on their community and beyond.

Maybe we’ll get this fairy tale ending, but I’m feeling a little pessimistic. I hope I’m wrong (fingers crossed)!
