Top 3: The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 7 rankings
The cuts came quickly and often on Monday night’s episode of The Bachelor Season 25 as the ladies of Matt James’ season went from nine down to four in a battle to get the coveted hometown date spots.
With the Heather cliffhanger from last week starting things off in a dramatic fashion, Bachelor Nation knew they were in for a doozy of an episode. Poor Heather barely had five minutes of total screentime before her mini-van was turned back around and Matt told her it was not meant to be.
Ouch.
Once things returned to normal, it was rose ceremony time followed by two one-on-ones, a group date, and another rose ceremony. We’re finally back on track, people!
So who still has hope that their love can last? And more importantly, who made it into our top 3 from this week’s episode of The Bachelor Season 25?
The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 7 power rankings
#1: Serena P.
One of our lucky one-on-one date winners survived her awkward AF date and received the rose that was the ticket to hometowns. Serena P., you get the prize for the worst date with the best reward!
Every season we have one and every season the participants hate their lives during it. Yes, I’m talking about the tantric yoga/meditation/massage/dance routine date that Bachelor producers love to throw our way as a final test of how serious a questionable contestant is. And this season’s went to Serena P. who openly admitted to Matt how it was the absolute worst and she would never do it again.
Despite her disdain for the actual activity, the pair bonded throughout the day and got emotional that evening as Serena revealed that she was slowly, but steadily headed toward those feelings of love. It was exactly what Matt needed to hear and he gave her a rose! Get the fam ready, Serena!
#2: Michelle
Very under the radar, but not forgotten at all is this next lady’s game. Boss babe, Michelle, takes second place in the rankings this week!
We all saw the fireworks on their first one-on-one date as Matt and Michelle looked like they had known each other forever. And although she was been forced into group date purgatory since then, this fan-favorite has remained one of Matt’s favorites as she is rewarded with frequent make-outs and of course, a rose that is her ticket to hometowns. If Michelle is not in the final two I will riot.
#3: Kit
Finally this week, we have our youngest contestant who had an unexpected evening after the group date when she didn’t receive the rose. Kit rounds out our top 3 and takes it with style.
I have to say I was convinced I would not be Team Kit when the season began, but this lovely lady grew on me with her confident, outspoken attitude. (And let’s be honest, her fashion sense.) But my journey to being a full-on Kit fan was complete Monday night as she laid everything out on the table in terms of who she is and what she needs from Matt. We love a woman who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to say it!
Kit’s speech about being a long-term investment did not seem to deter Matt, but when he didn’t give her the group date rose, Kit knew the time for games was done. She visited Matt after hours and poured her heart out about the fact that she was not ready for him to propose tomorrow and that it wasn’t fair to the other girls. And with that, the mature Kit made her exit out of Matt’s life and into the hearts of Bachelor Nation. Kit for Bachelor in Paradise!
Hometowns are next and things are serious so tune in and see who takes it all the way to Fantasy Suites!
