War of Roses: The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 7
The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 7: One-on-one Date: Jessenia Cruz
After the opening of this episode and seeing how Jessenia Cruz treated Heather Martin, I was so eager to see how her first one-on-one date would go with Matt. She preached anti-bullying and then laid it on the poor girl after she walked in. Don’t get me wrong, I would have been pissed too, but I would not have gone after Heather the way some of the girls did.
Nonetheless, she still got chosen for the date and we are here to discuss it all. Matt and Jessenia spent the day on the “race track”. They got to go behind the wheel and experienced what it’s like to drive a racecar. For the most part, the date was adventurous, lighthearted, and the two seemed to have a pretty good time. They even shared a passionate kiss on the hood of the car.
Moving into the evening portion, the two spent time trying to build their relationship. I’m pretty sure we all knew it was not where it needed to be at this point. And I think Matt finally realized that when the two spent one-on-one time together. He expressed to Jessenia that at this point, their relationship wasn’t where it needed to be and he couldn’t give her the date rose, sending her home.
I’m not exactly surprised by this decision from Matt. After all of the sudden exits in this episode, it only made sense to send Jessenia home as soon as he realized it wasn’t going to work. She was obviously caught off guard and upset to be going, but in the end, it was the right choice for both of them.
That’s it for week seven of The Bachelor Season 25! All of the date roses have been given out and Matt has made his choices. Now we have to wait until next week to see what other women get the chance at the coveted rose!
Until then, sound off below. Do you think Matt made the right choices in who he gave his roses to? Or do you think someone else deserved it more?
