War of Roses: The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 7
The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 7: Group Date #1
This was the very last group date of this season as we move into hometowns next week. On this date, we had contestants Pieper, Michelle, Rachael, Bri, Kit, and Abigail. Abigail was pretty upset hearing she wouldn’t be getting a one-on-one at all this season but was still hopeful going into the date. The other women were nervous as expected since this week was very important with such an important week ahead.
The date was a simple one, where the women and Matt just spent the evening talking with one another and tried to get the time they needed. Bri was one of the women who had a great conversation with Matt, where she opened up about leaving her job to be on the show and talked about her relationship with her mom.
But everything took a turn when Abigail went to talk to Matt. Since getting the first impression rose, she hadn’t gotten the time she deserved and you can tell that really weighed on their relationship and its progression. She tried to express this to Matt when they finally sat down to talk, but it just wasn’t enough for him. Matt ended up sending Abigail home right there and it really hit home. You can tell she was crushed and I don’t think anyone saw this one coming…
The date moved on after he walked her out, and the other women got a bit more time to talk to Matt. At the end of the night, it was Rachael who got the group date rose and a ticket right into hometowns. Not only that but then Matt said he would be taking Rachael away from the other women for the rest of the night. Yikes…I can’t imagine how the other women felt at that moment. As for the rose, are any of us surprised when Rachael gets it anymore, I don’t think so. It’s not the first time she’s gotten a date rose and we all know it’s not the last.
I will quickly mention that after the date ended, Kit did knock on Matt’s door. She told him that she wasn’t exactly ready for the next stage of the show and didn’t want to waste his time moving into such an important week. So she decided to show herself out which I think was a good move on her part.
