The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 7: One-on-one Date: Serena Pitt

Wow…that’s how I’m starting week seven off because I did NOT expect Serena Pitt’s name to be read on that one-on-one date card. After already having a one-on-one at the beginning of the season, I really didn’t expect her to get this one over Jessenia Cruz not to mention Abigail Heringer. But I guess Matt needs more time with Serena to figure everything out.

The date involved the two doing a couples yoga session, which involved some sexual positions and you could see how uncomfortable Serena was the entire time. She even expressed it wouldn’t be a date she would choose for herself and told Matt she probably wouldn’t do it again… Pretty awkward but at least she was honest and they were able to express something deep together.

The evening portion of the date was what you would expect, The Bachelor and his suitor sitting down diving deeper into their relationship. That’s exactly what we saw with Matt and Serena. There was nothing really special to point out other than the fact that she DID get the date rose which means she is going into home towns next week.

I’m not surprised by this decision from Matt, because she has seemed to be a frontrunner from the beginning. I do think she is one of the most real and genuinely kind out of all of the women this season so whenever she gets a rose I’m happy for her. I’m not sure if their connection is as strong as others, and I don’t think she deserved the date over Abigail, but that’s alright.
