The Bachelor Season 25 is about to up the ante with its drama as all the attention shifts to Heather Martin’s surprise appearance. Last week, we watched all the cringe awkwardness of her return as she quarantined and prepared to “meet” Matt James for the very first time. While she played out her days in the form of a vlog, and admittedly it was quite painful to watch.

I’m not sure how much of it was her or how much of it was production (probably this) but it wasn’t a good look for her either way. To make matters worse, we saw last week’s episode end with Heather interrupting Matt’s date with Pieper James to the tune of Matt’s boisterous laughter.

It’s unclear if that laugh was because he was truly surprised or if it was because he couldn’t believe the absurdity of Heather showing up nearly six weeks into the season. Either way, tonight’s episode of The Bachelor Season 25 is about to dive into all of that and more.

Based on the little we’ve thus far, I don’t think Heather’s stint on the show is going to last very long and is likely just a drawn-out ploy to bring in the drama. I have no idea what production has been doing as of late, but they really got to cut this out!

In any case, take a peek at the promo for tonight’s episode below–and before you do, be warned, Matt does not look happy:
