The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 6: Three clear contenders in the quest for Matt’s heart have pulled out in front of the group

Michelle Young has emerged as the leader of the pack, following a one-on-one date in which Matt was more animated and engaged while soaring through the air in a hot air balloon than we’ve ever seen him.

After arriving on the scene late, it’s clear Michelle has maximized her time with Matt. On the bowling group date on The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 6, Michelle stood out enough in her conversation with Matt about how their relationship is steadily progressing after every talk to earn the group date rose over the nine other women on the date.

It almost feels as if Matt and Michelle have a real, genuine relationship going strong in the midst of all the chaos in the house, despite Michelle’s inclusion as a new woman. The elementary school teacher from Minnesota seems to be the best choice—and the favorite—for Matt.

Rachael Kirkconnell is, well, facing down some serious accusations of racism. She is one of the leading candidates on this season of The Bachelor, and Matt has seemingly defended Rachael, but racism is intolerable and if proven true, there need to be serious consequences.

Matt and Rachael’s relationship so far this season has progressed farther than basically anyone else in the house. During their one-on-one, they both admitted to starting to fall for one another, and after a shopping spree date, Rachael came back with red-soled high heels to the chagrin of the other women.

Rachael is still firmly running near the lead for Matt’s heart.

Abigail Heringer is definitely Bachelor Nation’s sweetheart. She’s opened herself up to Matt about the struggles of hearing impairment. She’s been very vocal about the fear of wanting to build a life with someone and to have children when there’s a chance her children might inherit her condition.

Matt was obviously very taken with Abigail off the bat, giving her his first impression rose, but she is one of the few women in the house who has not received a one-on-one date. Regardless, Matt and Abigail share a strong connection, and it would be shocking if she did not reach home towns.

It does appear that Abigail’s frustration at her lack of time with Matt is building though, and if she spoke to Matt after the bowling date, it wasn’t shown.
