The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 6: One-on-one Date: Pieper James

We start off the dates this week with a one-on-one with Pieper James. She seemed really excited to start the evening with Matt, but when he drove her to the country in the pitch-black darkness, she seemed a bit timid. But when their walk came to an end, Matt told her to flip a switch that turned on a bunch of lights and unveiled their own little carnival. Super cute.

When the two sat down to dive deeper into their relationship, Pieper let Matt know that she finds it difficult to express her emotions to people. You can tell it was a hard topic to talk about and I give her props for bringing it up then and there. Matt let her know that they could work on it together and it was a very real moment between the two.

After spending the evening talking and getting to know each other on a deeper level, Matt reached over and asked if Pieper would accept the date rose. She was obviously so excited and happy, it was a no-brainer in saying yes. Afterward, they danced the night away to a live performance from Temecula Road.

I think Pieper deserved this date rose because not only was she patient in waiting for a one-on-one date, the two seem to have a pretty good relationship. I wouldn’t say as strong as the other women this season, but still a genuine connection.
