The Bachelor Season 25
(ABC/Craig Sjodin) MATT JAMES, RACHAEL /

#1: Rachael Kirkconnell

With a fairytale one-on-one date set-up for one lucky lady, you knew the girl who got the princess treatment had to be someone special. Rachael got the designer goods, the magical carriage ride, Matt falling for her, and takes the top spot in the rankings!

After feeling less than confident that Matt still had eyes for her, Rachael went into this week hoping for more reassurance from our Bachelor. And, boy, did she get it! Rachael received the first one-on-one and was swept away for a shopping spree day with none other than Beyonce’s stylist. Jealous does not even begin to describe it! She played dress up in designer duds as Matt gushed over how great she looked before being gifted her own pair of Louboutin’s and an amazing gown to wear for dinner. *swoon

Things got deeper for these two as Rachael opened up that night about feeling insecure and undeserving of Matt’s affections to which he assured her she was totally deserving in a very sweet moment. Rachael revealed that she is falling in love with him and Matt echoed her sentiments! The rose sealed the deal and it was off to make out on a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride. Sigh, I love these two!

#2: Abigail Heringer

If Bachelor Nation had a favorite, I think it would be the lady who takes second place in the rankings this week. Abigail, you are quickly turning into one of Matt’s favorites!

Although we haven’t seen too much of Matt and Abigail lately, the pair had an emotional moment during the group date cocktail party where Abigail opened up and shared one of her biggest fears in a relationship. Abigail revealed that her father abandoned her and her sister after he learned they were deaf, and Matt comforted her and sympathized as he also grew up without his father. Abigail received the group date rose and I am hoping she lasts for a very long time!

#3: Pieper James

Last, but not least this week we have the girl who got a little unexpected lip-lock during the group date that caused quite a stir. Pieper, you lucky lady, you take third place in the rankings!

Alone time is hard to come by in a group date and with most of the focus on MJ and her antics, the other ladies were definitely feeling frustrated. But with one flying egg the tables turned! Matt tossed an egg to MJ who promptly cracked it and chased him in retaliation.

Our Bachelor made his escape through a nearby barn and right into Pieper’s interview time. These two immediately went to town kissing up a storm as MJ and the rest of the girls looked uncomfortably on. I think it’s pretty safe to say that Pieper has some staying power after that steamy moment!

dark. Next. The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 5 recap: Goodbye to the mean girls

Next week we have the continuation of the Jessenia vs. MJ battle and another new lady to stir up trouble. Tune in to see who lives to see another day and makes it into the rankings!
