The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 3: Best moment: Katie and Sarah’s girl chat

We’ve all seen it before—one contestant is ganged up on by the group and things get downright painful to watch, as Katie aptly said in her chat with Sarah. Yes, Sarah brought a lot of it on herself. However, it seemed to me a clear case of someone who was in over her head, filled with anxiety, and perhaps a bit too susceptible to the pressures of the environment.

When Sarah finally emerged from her bedroom, it was clear the girls had riled themselves up (a bit too much). The cycle of apologies from Sarah/further comments from the women almost made me turn off the volume on my television!

However, redemption was in sight! Though we’ve had many group fights on The Bachelor, it’s hard to remember a time when we were shown such a nice resolution between two women afterward. I know from reading contestant’s memoirs that those “Come to Jesus” moments have happened, but it has hardly ever been shown!

When Katie came into Sarah’s room and said “that was hard to watch,” I almost couldn’t believe my ears. It’s a testament to how dramatic and cruel this show sometimes is that this moment stood out so much. The ensuing chat the two had about their fathers was about as deep as this show gets, and I was super thankful for it! Here’s hoping they can continue a friendship off the show!

All in all, this week was dramatic, unexpected, and the best episode of The Bachelor Season 25 so far!
