The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 2: Worst Moment: Victoria vs. Marylynn

Yes, Victoria is dramatic and seems hard to live with. I assume she may be playing some of it up as a Bachelor in Paradise audition—we know from past seasons that being the fire starter works! From what we saw, it seems like Victoria was upset with Marylynn for virtually nothing, and committed the age-old sin of tattling to the Bachelor.

However, what we saw just does not seem like the full story. We saw Victoria obliquely referring to things Marylynn had done, as her roommate, to hurt her feelings. My issue with this is the editing. Assuming something along those lines happened, why didn’t we get to see it?

Maybe Marylynn said a few things that rubbed Victoria the wrong way. Maybe Marylynn moved out of the room suddenly. Victoria’s dramatic and seems to be overreacting, sure, but it’s hard to believe everything was 100% invented out of thin air.

The editing has been growing worse for years in this way–it seems as if the show seems intent on shoehorning a narrative, but is okay with withholding crucial details from viewers!  I’d love to someday get a more complete picture of what happens in the house. Dare to dream!
