The Bachelor Season 25 heads into week two tonight as Matt James’ group dates kick off–with a side of drama.

The Bachelor Season 25 was off to quite a start last week as Bachelor Nation (and the world) fell in love with Matt James. We simply couldn’t get enough of what our new Bachelor had to offer, and given he is a newbie to the franchise, the allure was ten-fold.

For his first night, things were relatively calm and collect as Matt met each of the 32 contestants. Of course, “calm and collect” should be taken lightly when it comes to this particular world, especially when it comes to premiere night. But nonetheless, it didn’t get that crazy.

The Bachelor Season 25 gave us some early fan favorites during the premiere including the franchise’s first deaf contestant, Abigail Heringer, who certainly caught Matt’s eye from the get-go. Their chemistry is undeniable, and it’s safe to say, she’s probably sticking around for a bit.

Heading into tonight’s episode, I’m eager to see the women on dates with Matt because that’s when things really get started–drama and otherwise. Much like Nick Viall’s (and Tayshia Adams’) season, tonight’s group date will include a wedding photoshoot, which almost never goes well. Plus mix in 20+ women competing for Matt James’ attention, things are bound to get out of control.
