The Bachelor Season 25, Episode 1: Best moment: Matt and Chris Harrison

Chris Harrison and Matt have pretty good chemistry, considering they are a brand new pairing! Chris was clearly already comfortable enough to say, “Damn, you’re tall!” when Matt emerged from the limo.

Matt then reminded Chris it was his first time going through this and asked Chris if he could talk to him before the limos arrived and “ask a few things.”

Though the fireside chat that ensued was clearly planned, I’m not sure the timing of it was. It almost seemed believable that Matt asked about it at the last second.

Chris humored Matt’s request and invited him to “step into his chateau” which they “just had built.” I always love it when we get to see Chris’s sense of humor. Show this more!

Matt’s uncertainty about the “journey” ahead seemed real and super endearing. We’re all so used to leads who have grown comfortable in front of the cameras… maybe a little too comfortable. It was nice to see Chris be more needed and involved than usual, giving an outsider some real advice about how crazy it can get on the show.
