The Bachelor Season 25 premiered this week, featuring these best and worst moments!

It seems like just yesterday we were waving a fond farewell to Tayshia and Zac as they sped off in their New York taxicab. Now here we are at the premiere of Matt James’ season of The Bachelor! This week’s episode of The Bachelor Season 25 felt vintage in the best way, mostly due to the fact that Matt James is (fairly) new to Bachelor Nation.

The first several seasons of The Bachelor featured unknown catches from all across America, and it was actually fun getting to know them throughout the season. Last night we got to know Matt James better than I thought we would. He revealed some classic “vulnerability,” a sense of humor, and a general unease with the whole situation. I was impressed!

I must say, it was also nice to finally escape that resort from Tayshia’s season. I was into it at first, but eventually, I felt like I had been trapped there for weeks, along with the contestants. Now we have a beautiful new Pennsylvania chateau…I’m going to have to look up exactly what the word “chateau” means.
