The Bachelor season rankings: All Bachelor seasons ranked

21. Byron Velvick: Season 6
Long before Kailyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson competed for a spot as the lead on The Bachelorette, there was the sixth season of The Bachelor that pitted Byron Velvick and Jay Overbye against one another. In the end, Velvick came out on top and secured a spot as the season’s Bachelor and lead.
There isn’t anything significant to report home about when it comes to Velvick’s season. By the end of his season, Velvick ended up proposing to Maribel Liliana “Mary” Delgado. But just a short few years later and a battery charge against Delgado later, the couple called it quits.
But all’s well that ends well as Velvick did eventually get married to a woman named Belinda Juarez with whom he has a daughter with. And as far as we know, he’s living life as a family man and a retired professional bass fisherman (yes, for reals).
20. Andrew Baldwin: Season 10
If you look up season 10’s Bachelor, Andrew Baldwin, you’ll find quite the resume and personal history ranging from being the son of a Pennsylvania State Representative to being a literal National Scholar Athlete to being a US Navy Officer–and that’s not even everything. He just might be the most accomplished Bachelor the franchise has ever seen!
Famously called The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman, season 10 had some interesting moments that Bachelor Nation fans remember quite well. In fact, it had one of the most dramatic and gutwrenching breakups I’ve seen thus far, and that’s saying something.
During a two-on-one date, Baldwin took off in a helicopter with Tessa Horst and left behind 24-year-old Peyton Wright on the USS Midway. He literally left her on a runway and flew away. Talk about running away, er flying away from your problems.
Horst and Baldwin were only engaged for eight months after the season 10 finale as Horst called it off while Baldwin was on deployment. But worry not folks, Baldwin wasn’t defeated by that breakup by any means because the man who can apparently do it all went on to compete in many, many triathlons and continue his work as an activist and humanitarian all around the world.
