10. Peter Weber: Season 24
Oh, Pilot Pete. We’re rapidly approaching the year anniversary of his season of The Bachelor, and as most of us know, quite a bit has happened in his life. We first met Peter Weber as a contestant on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette, but he was sent home despite making it all the way to the top three.
Things worked out in his favor, however, as he became the lead of season 24, and embarked on quite the journey himself. From the get-go, Peter’s season had two standouts in Hannah Ann Sluss and Madison Prewett. And not to anyone’s surprise, they were the final two women standing at the end of the season.
Given Peter’s penchant for drama, being a tattletale, and bask in the glory of utter stupidity, it came as no surprise to anyone when he drove his season right into the ground. Peter’s attraction and love for Madison were very clear early on but with her discomfort towards Fantasy Suites, things got a bit awkward and she voluntarily walked away from her chance at love.
Instead of alerting Hannah Ann about Madison, Peter decided to propose to her, and things appeared to be heading towards a happily ever after. Of course, they weren’t and during the very uncomfortable Tell All special, we learned what had gone on in the months following that proposal.
Hannah Ann and Peter’s relationship wasn’t as picture-perfect as people would have hoped, and it was revealed that Peter broke up with Hannah Ann, and went back to Madison, much to Mama Weber’s disapproval. We’ll never forget the way Barb conveyed her disgust and disappointment that day.
Suffice to say, it was a very controversial and annoying ending to the season, and after all that, Peter didn’t end up with Madison either.
Following the drama of his season, rumors of him dating a contestant from his season, Kelley Flanagan, began making the rounds after they were spotted quarantining together. Soon after the rumors began, the couple made it Instagram official and have been together since then, and will be moving in together as of Dec. 2020.
