Bachelor Nation really wants The Bachelorette’s Ivan Hall to be the next Bachelor

Bachelor Nation campaigning for Ivan Hall to be next Bachelor

Warning: Slight spoilers from The Bachelorette season 16 — particularly pertaining to Ivan Hall — ahead! 

Heading into the season finale of The Bachelorette, the odds of Ivan Hall receiving Tayshia Adams’ final rose looked quite strong.

Throughout Tayshia’s time as The Bachelorette, Ivan and Tayshia seemed to have quite a strong connection and the pair really complemented one another. After getting the chance to introduce Tayshia to his family, Ivan seemed to knock it out of the park with a really sweet overnight date and all signs seemed to be pointing toward him making it to the final two if nothing else.

Then Ben Smith had to show up and ruin it all.

After Ben showed up unexpectedly to confess his love for Tayshia, she invited him to the rose ceremony much to the surprised of Ivan and Zac. Given she had done the same in inviting party-crashing Bennett to the rose ceremony only to eliminate him again, the odds still seemed good for Ivan. Then came the moment in which Tayshia pulled him aside before the official rose ceremony could get underway.

Bachelor Nation’s heart was quickly broken as Tayshia shockingly eliminated Ivan, leaving fans reeling.

With their emotions running high, fans quickly shifted their focus onto what should be next for Ivan and the growing consensus is that Ivan Hall should be at the top of ABC’s list for the next season of The Bachelor!

3. We imagine the ABC phone lines are lighting up like a Christmas tree. 

4. Ivan really does deserve more than a trip to Paradise, though we wouldn’t complain about his journey continuing in any way. 

5. Snapping intensifies. 

Will Ivan Hall be the next Bachelor?

Needless to say, in any normal year, there is a strong chance Ivan could have very well have been tapped to star as the lead in the next cycle of The Bachelor — as ABC has long liked tapping a fan-favorite from the most recent season of The Bachelorette to get a second chance at love on its flagship series.

However, 2020 is far from normal and due to the later season of The Bachelorette, ABC was forced to begin filming on season 25 of The Bachelor and therefore had to cast someone outside of Tayshia’s group of men for the season: enter Matt James.

While Ivan Hall won’t be able to become the next Bachelor, there is no ruling Ivan our as a candidate for the season after Matt’s. Sure some time will have passed since his appearance on The Bachelorette, but there’s no arguing that could be for the better in giving Ivan to process and move past his feelings for Tayshia.

Given how many favorites emerged during Tayshia’s season, there is sure to be stiff competition for the role but fans definitely seem smitten with the idea of Ivan Hall as the next Bachelor!
