The Bachelorette Season 16, Episode 11: Worst moment: Zac’s hometown

I dig Zac C., and genuinely see him and Tayshia making a good couple! However, this hometown gave me pause for a couple of reasons- chief among them, Zac’s mother said he has not wanted a wife or children until now. Zac said he was “in denial” about wanting those things, which makes sense…. but if I were Tayshia, I would have a serious amount of questions. Does he truly want those things now, or is he just caught up in the Bachelorette bubble? Why didn’t he want those things before? This was truly glossed over, so I hope it’s addressed next week!

There were also several repetitions of “I can’t believe Zac is smiling.” Thinking that Zac never smiles makes me sad. It could be that he’s been happy but is just not necessarily smiley, but his whole family (especially his mother) just seemed so worried about him. The storyline seems to be that Tayshia is “fixing” Zac somehow, which just seems like a recipe for disaster. We will see!
