I think Tayshia really likes Zac C. She hit it off with his family, but I’m just not sold. I need to see more from him next week – it’s just so hard to get a read. He seems like a very genuine guy.

2. Ivan (6-1)

Ivan is the GOAT. He’s one of my favorite contestants of all time. His hometown was one of my favorites, too. Like his one-on-one, it was a simple one—he shared his Filipino heritage and the two did some cooking with Ivan’s niece, Kehlani on video. It was great. And then his parents showed up. Ivan’s dad is the GOAT.

They had great discussion and to Ivan’s surprise, his brother Gabriel made an appearance at La Quinta. When Gabe walked in, Ivan immediately lost it, I immediately lost it, and America (probably) immediately lost it. It was a very emotional moment, as Ivan shared that his brother is his inspiration after all he’s been through. The two shared a moment and Gabe was able to catch up with Tayshia as well. As I’m sitting here typing this, I truly can’t believe that Ivan isn’t number one on my list. He should win this thing by a LANDSLIDE. But that brings us to…
