Last night’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 16 had the guys recreating unique hometown dates–and sent one guy home packing.

Last night’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 16 was all about hometown dates! Since they couldn’t go home for their hometown dates, Chris Harrison encouraged them to recreate what they would do in their hometown but do it at the hotel. Brendan was first, and they played carnival games with his niece. Later that night, the pair met Brendan’s older brother and his brother’s wife, and they had great conversations.

Next up, Zac recreated New York life by teaching Tayshia how to flag down a taxi. They shared New York bagels and pizza and shared a romantic dip in the fountain they shared a wish in a few weeks ago. Then that night, Tayshia met Zac’s parents and brother. Tayshia told Zac’s brother that she was falling in love with Zac, but he wanted to know more about her other relationships. Overall, the conversations went well, and Zac said he now wanted a family.

Ivan had the third date, and they cooked a meal together after watching his niece prepare the meal on a video. She was extra nervous about meeting Ivan’s family since he had only brought home one other woman before Tayshia. The meeting went well, though, and Ivan’s brother even showed up.

Ben had the final date. They rollerbladed, went to a juice bar, and hung out in the pool. Like with Zac, Tayshia commented on falling in love with Ben, but that he hadn’t shared if he was falling for her or not. One of Ben’s visitors was Chef Antonia Lofaso from Top Chef. She could tell that Ben was falling in love with Tayshia. But after their visit, Ben still couldn’t find a way to tell Tayshia how he felt.

Going into the rose ceremony, Ben commented on wanting to tell Tayshia he loved her. Tayshia had a fantastic group of guys for the final four, but many fans were still shocked to see her say goodbye to Ben. They shared a heartbreaking goodbye as he bid farewell to The Bachelorette Season 16 forever.
