Are you ready for The Bachelorette season 16 to take on hometowns? This week, we’ll see Tayshia Adams go through one final rose ceremony to pick the suitors she’ll be taking that next big step with. As we left off last week, Tayshia has a one-on-one date with Blake coming up, and she’ll also have to decide if she’ll let Bennett return to the competition.
This week will also mark the season’s
Men Tell All
episode, and the teasers ABC has released
some major stuff. If you hadn’t realized already, we’re expecting big drama this week, and we’re getting back-to-back episodes as well.
That’s right:
The Bachelorette
will air for two nights this week, so brace yourselves!
What nights are The Bachelorette on this week?
The Bachelorette season 16 will air on Monday night (December 14), as well as Tuesday night (December 15).
Why are there two episodes of The Bachelorette this week?
The reason why we’re getting two new episodes of Tayshia’s season this week is basically because time is running out. Last week, the men were told that hometowns would be coming up, which shocked both the contestants and the viewers. It goes without saying that more connections must be made–and a few more men must be eliminated–before hometowns take place.
Having the Men Tell All special this week also added to the need for two nights of episodes. As reported by Refinery29, the special will air tonight, December 14.
Considering Matt James’ season of The Bachelor begins on January 4, the first week of the new year, Tayshia’s season has to wrap up this month. There’s still Ben, Blake, Brendan, Ivan, Noah, Riley, and Zac (plus possibly Bennett) fully in the competition, so the remaining episodes have to come at us fast.
We wouldn’t be surprised if we get more than one episode a week at least another time this season.
