The Bachelorette Season 16: Bachelor Odds after Week 9
By Bachelor Bob
Episode 9 of The Bachelorette Season 16 was another one for the ages. It was action-packed with Bennett drama (twice), a fun scavenger hunt, an interesting “lie detector test,” more men opening up about extremely difficult subjects, and more Jojo Fletcher.
Warning: Spoilers from The Bachelorette Season 16, Episode 9 ahead!
We said goodbye to four men last week. And then we un-said goodbye to one. Or did we? I’m not really sure because ABC and The Bachelorette left us with yet another Bennett cliffhanger. Let’s take a quick moment to bid our farewells to the men who are definitely gone.
First and foremost, I’d like to highlight Demar. This man deserved better. He is going to run the beaches of Paradise this summer, and I truly can’t wait to watch.
Another man who is going to run the beaches of Paradise is King Ed. I’ve said it before, but the guy was a walking talking meme this entire season. He probably got an extremely unfair edit because we were in need of comic relief at times, but I think he’s going to have a bit of a redemption arc in Paradise. You heard it here first.
Lastly, Spencer went home. Don’t quote me, but I think this may have been the worst finish for a Bachelorette first impression rose recipient of all time. I could generously say that he came in 8th place, but realistically he also came in 11th place. That’s pretty bad, especially for a ‘season’ that started with twenty men.
Tayshia actually referenced a mysterious ‘awkward conversation’ with Spencer during her appearance on Ellen this week. The video is both linked and broken down here, but please note that the video may contain some potential spoilers, as Ellen has no shame in some of the questions she asks her guests and famously tries to get them to slip up about private matters.
And without further ado, here are the official Bachelor Bob Power Rankings and ‘Vegas’ odds after Week 9 of The Bachelorette Season 16.
