Last night’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 16 was the last week before hometown dates!

Last night’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 16 brought us back to Tayshia’s confrontation with Bennett and Noah. After chatting with them individually, Tayshia decided to say goodbye to Bennett. He was surprised but wished her the best in finding her man. Noah was surprised when Tayshia didn’t give him a rose either. But after the cocktail party, Noah received a rose. Tayshia sent home Spencer, Ed, and Demar.

The next day became more intense when JoJo announced that hometown dates would be next week. The first date was with Ben. They rode scooters while solving a scavenger hunt. The date became a bit more serious when Tayshia asked Ben about his family during dinner. Ben shared that he had two failed suicide attempts and his sister was the one who comforted him. It was a deep conversation, and Tayshia appreciated Ben trusting her.

The next date of the week was a group date. The guys knew this was the last time to make an impression on Tayshia before the hometown dates. They pulled the most incredible trick by telling the guys they were taking a lie detector test, but the machine was just a MacBook Pro. Some of the questions were more difficult than others, and Tayshia wanted to chat with them more during drinks later.

Tayshia wanted to know about Zac’s cheating history and he surprised her when he said his cheating story took place in the sixth grade. They had a good laugh and moved past it. Riley had an emotional chat with Tayshia too. He explained why the lie detector said he lied about his name. Tayshia was thankful that he opened up with her. Every conversation was so great that she didn’t feel right giving anyone the rose.

As she was leaving the group date, Tayshia walked right into Bennett. He asked to chat with her and called her beautiful. Bennett shared how confused he was after leaving her and said he loved her. Tayshia was shocked and said she would think about it and get back to him the next day.
