Top 3: The Bachelorette Season 16, episode 8 rankings

Ten men attend an art class in order to reveal themselves through their creative talent. Another man faces his fears as he and Tayshia go ghost hunting, but, even scarier, he admits his deep feelings for her. It was an emotional roller coaster on this week’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 16 as Tayshia’s journey to find love continued!

The Bachelorette Season 16 continued this week with a one-on-one, a group date, and a Noah vs Bennett stand-off. There was bad artwork, a trampoline, a box of gifts, and a strip-tease that no one saw coming.

But who got to sit in the front of the coaster and lead the pack in our power rankings?

#1: Ben

Topping the list in our rankings of The Bachelorette Season 16 this week is the man who bared it all, both emotionally and *ahem* physically during the “express yourself” group date. Yes, the man with the biggest balls of them all, Ben, takes first place.

Before he opted to robe up and strip down, Ben was really struggling with how to best display his feelings on the artistic group date. But at the last minute, he decided to shock the group and our Bachelorette with a full display of his nakedness to show off his vulnerable side.

This bold move gave way to deeper conversations later in the evening as Ben revealed to Tayshia that he had struggled with an eating disorder for many years of his life. Ben’s openness and bold moves paid off and Tayshia rewarded him with a rose. I’m not saying she didn’t give it over because she was impressed with his goods, but I’m not not saying that ya know? Either way, these two are adorable and I am here for Team Ben.

#2: Zac C.

Coming in a very close second place is someone who overcame more in a few years than most people do in their entire lives and bravely shared that experience with Bachelor Nation. Zac takes the number two spot in our rankings and has definitely earned our respect as well as Tayshia’s heart.

What started off as a fun photoshoot date got serious when Tayshia realized it was a little too real and reminded her of her own previous marriage. Zac supported and comforted her every step of the way and finally got her to loosen up and have a goofy, great time.

That evening Zac took his walls down completely and opened up with the traumatic story of his past including his brain tumor, a failed marriage, and his struggles with addiction. Tayshia was amazed by his courage to share his story and the pair got so much closer during the emotional conversation.  I think it’s safe to say our Bachelorette is one smitten kitten for Zac!

#3:  Riley

Rounding out our top 3 for this week’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 16 is another gentleman who really opened up and impressed Tayshia with his willingness to share his story. Riley lands in the third spot for this week’s power rankings.

During the “express yourself” date Riley’s self-portrait was about how his mom reached out to him after years of not being in his life to ask him what keeps him going and motivates him.  His response was all about family and the importance of being there and supporting those most important to you.

At the group date cocktail party, Riley and Tayshia continued the conversation about his past and where he came from and his vulnerability really surprised our Bachelorette. I think if Riley keeps doing what he’s doing he and Tayshia could have a beautiful thing!
