The Bachelorette Season 16: Bachelor Odds after Week 7

The Bachelorette Season 16: Hometown Heroes
These guys are definitely making it to hometowns. I’m not sure how hometowns are going to work during The Bachelorette Season 16. Maybe a PowerPoint about the town with family calling in via Zoom? Regardless, these guys are the odds-on favorites to take home the final rose.
4. Ben (8-1)
Ben is a twerp. There, I said it. Ok, he’s a loveable twerp, but he’s still a twerp. He’s very sensitive and very compassionate and very into Tayshia. He had a bit of a redemption arc this episode and Tayshia seemed smitten.
3. Zac C. (8-1)
I truly don’t know what it is, but Tayshia is captivated by Zac C. She seems to be so into this guy and I just don’t understand it. We haven’t seen a whole lot out of him, but I’d expect that to change in the next week or two. As the group starts to dwindle, I think Zac C. really has a chance to shine.
2. Brendan (8-1)
Brendan had his second quiet episode in a row, but their chemistry is still undeniable.
1. Ivan (5-1)
Speaking of chemistry. Holy sh*t. Ivan and Tayshia got off to a slow start, but holy hell do the two of them just ooze chemistry. I looked it up on dictionary.com and there’s a picture of them sitting on that couch underneath the word chemistry. Check it out for yourself!
Actually don’t check it out, that was a lie. It should be there, though. I’ll send the folks over at the dictionary a strongly worded email. But I digress. Tayshia and Ivan have so much in common. They were able to truly bond and get to know each other and I couldn’t be happier that ABC showed it all. Race in America has been a polarizing topic these last several months and the conversation that they had was so important. It was a monumental moment for a franchise that has been dominated by a lack of diversity over the last couple of decades.
Something is going to have to go seriously wrong for Tayshia to not pick this man.
*Not Ranked: Eazy
Trigger Warning: Eazy emerged as an early fan favorite, but starting midway through the premiere, allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman emerged on Twitter and Reddit. Allegedly there have been attempts made to contact Bachelorette production and legal action has been taken. While we’re still learning the details and cannot confirm the veracity of these allegations, we believe it’s important to err on the side of believing women and have therefore chosen to leave Eazy off our power rankings indefinitely.
After a couple of full episodes with Tayshia, do you agree with the rankings? Who are your favorites? Let me know in the comments!
Tune in to watch Tayshia continue her journey to find love on Tuesday, 12/1 at 8/7c on ABC!
