The Bachelorette Season 16, Episode 7 recap: Tayshia and Ivan form a close bond
Last night’s episode of The Bachelorette involved some heartfelt conversations, very late nightcaps, and a little dose of drama before the rose ceremony.
Last night on The Bachelorette started with the guys competing for a solo date with Tayshia. They had to write and perform a love song. Ivan won the date, and they shared a night in with wine, room service, and games. Tayshia and Ivan had an in-depth conversation with a few laughs and tears.
Tayshia’s next gathering was a group date. Bachelor Nation alums Becca Kufrin and Sydney Lotuaco helped Tayshia spy on the guys while they completed a truth or dare scavenger hunt. The guys had to drink smoothies with gross ingredients and ask Chris Harrison for an autograph where the sun didn’t shine. They finished the date by expressing their feelings to Tayshia after eating habanero peppers.
Tayshia had great conversations and chemistry with all the guys during the cocktail time after the scavenger hunt. But she connected the most with Zac and gave him the group rose. After talking to every guy, she had a big smile on her face and seemed hopeful about her relationships.
Some guys were concerned that they didn’t have any time with Tayshia this week. Both Ed and Ben went on a late-night stroll to chat with Tayshia. Ed mistakenly went to Harrison’s villa at 2:30 A.M., instead of Tayshia’s. Ed stayed for a drink and gave up on his pursuit to see Tayshia. Ben was more successful and found her room. They chatted about their disconnect and shared a kiss.
Noah decided to stir the pot during the cocktail party by telling Tayshia that some guys questioned her integrity. She confronted everyone and said she was always going to be intentional.
Tayshia ended the cocktail party after her speech, which upset many of the guys. Fans were shocked when Tayshia decided to keep Ed but sent home Joe, Jordan, Kenny, and Chasen.
That’s a wrap on this week’s recap of The Bachelorette. Until next week, Bachelor Nation!
