It looks like we’re returning to paradise! Chris Harrison is revealing tentative plans for Bachelor in Paradise to continue in 2021, reports Us Weekly. And we’re totally here for it–if it’s safe, of course.

According to Chris, it’s only a matter of time, but it’s definitely happening, inevitably. In an interview with Us Weekly, the longtime host admitted that he doesn’t know when exactly everything is going to happen, but claims that Bachelor in Paradise will definitely go on.

With COVID-19 and the ongoing need for social distancing still very much a thing, it’s not quite clear yet where the next season will take place, but there’s a good chance they’ll have to change up the location when the time comes.

Season 16 of The Bachelorette was filmed in a quarantined location, at La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs. Matt James’ season of The Bachelor began shooting in September from a safe distance at well, at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Pennsylvania.

If nothing else, Chris says he’s hopeful that when it’s time for Bachelor in Paradise, we all will have returned to some semblance of normalcy by then, and therefore, the cast could return to the same format. The iconic host explained:

"Clearly, we are like the rest of the world. This vaccine is on the horizon, there is hope on the horizon and where there’s hope, there’s roses and there’s The Bachelor. We’re always right there."

When is Bachelor in Paradise season 7 starting?

So when exactly does Chris Harrison think Paradise could go down? As early as June 2021 is the “dream scenario.” He dished:

"In all seriousness, our dream scenario is Bachelorette is next. That’s our normal schedule. You know, we shot The Bachelor in the normal timeframe, we’re going to shoot Bachelorette in the normal timeframe — this winter/spring — and then that’ll lead us into hopefully the Bachelor in Paradise that we normally have in June. … I’m not Anthony Fauci here, but my dream is that the vaccine is working by then and we’re right back to normal."

All the Bachelor fans are certainly hopeful as well.
