Say it isn’t so, Doctor Joe!

Fans of The Bachelorette aren’t handling Tayshia Adams saying goodbye to Joe Park quite as well as she seems to be. Although, it’s not because they think that Joe is the one for Tayshia. On social media, the fans are now saying they just want more of Doctor Joe, explaining all the reasons he deserved more of a chance than he was been given on season 16.

I can’t say I blame them for that!

On Reddit, one person said that even though it was obvious to most of us that Joe wasn’t getting the final rose, his elimination still “hurt.” They added, “I think he’s my favorite contestant since I started watching the show, by far.” Of his departure, they wrote, “I loved his final words to Tayshia. Such a class act. Here’s to hoping we see him in Paradise.”

"Official thread to collect our tears after ____ was sent home tonight. *sobbing* from thebachelor"

This fan is definitely not the only one who still has warm and fuzzy feelings for Doctor Joe. Another person said, “He’s such a catch, had the right amount of self deprecation (never took it too far), made us laugh AND swoon,” adding, “I’m just super sad to see him go. And of course, it was so nice having a full Asian man on the show.”

Many see Joe as the fan-favorite of Tayshia’s season, no matter how short-lived his stint might’ve turned out to be. Not so surprisingly,

the campaign

to make Joe the next Bachelor (after Matt James, of course) continues beyond his departure, at least in the hearts and eternal hopes of fans.

Not to mention, the bittersweet way Joe said goodbye still has many on social media all up in their feelings.

It’s safe to say that we’re all hoping to see more of Doctor Joe, sooner rather than later. And if the fans keeping a close eye on him are correct, there’s no way such a great catch won’t end up in romantic paradise eventually, with or without it being televised. But fingers crossed it will be.
