With Clare and Dale officially a part of The Bachelorette Season 16 past, our newest Bachelorette, Tayshia, had a full episode completely to herself Tuesday night.
This week on The Bachelorette Season 16, we had not one, but two group dates, Tayshia’s first real rose ceremony, and more man drama than anyone expected. Thank you, ABC producers for a normal, back to basics episode!
Things started strong with the Grown Ass Man Challenge and our special guests, Bachelor in Paradise couple Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon, to lead the group through a few very important tests. Then things got heated with an oily wrestling match date and another Bachelor Nation favorite, Wells Adams as the co-host.
There was drama, drama, drama throughout, but who survived it all and made it into our Top 3 of this week’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 16?
#1: Noah
The man with the stache that would not quit (at least until Tayshia made him shave it off) takes the top spot this week in our rankings. Noah, you fought for our Bachelorette’s heart in the wrestling ring and it paid off in more ways than one!
After Ed revealed to Chris Harrison that a very suspicious (and newly discovered?) shoulder injury prevented him from wrestling his enemy, Noah jumped the fence literally and challenged Chasen to a battle. Alas, he was not victorious.
But that didn’t stop Tayshia from inviting Noah to the after-party where he interrupted the other dudes on more than one occasion! Tayshia was too distracted by his mustache to care and Noah received the group date rose officially becoming a true threat.
#2: Bennett
Mr. Harvard himself came out swinging on the Grown Ass Man date and solidified his place in Tayshia’s heart and in our number two spot in the rankings. Yes, it’s bad at math, Bennett.
Bennett started off the group date with all the confidence a man who went to an Ivy League school should have. And then he saw the first math problem and proceeded to get all of them wrong. Yikes.
A football injury spared him from the physical challenge tug of war, but our sophisticated sir had his time to shine when he prepared Tayshia a boujee breakfast in bed for the final portion of the challenge. His robe-clad, cuddly delivery sealed the deal and Bennett won the award as the Grown Ass Man.
He locked things in with a bold kiss to our Bachelorette and made Bachelor Nation swoon along with it. The robe never left his body as he wore it all night long during the cocktail party, a true style icon. Bennett, you and your swagger should never change. You may not be good at simple math, but at least you have this second-place ranking victory.
#3: Ivan
Finally this week we have smooth operator, Ivan, who is gradually sweeping our girl off her feet and along with it, sliding into our third place in the top three of this week’s installment of The Bachelorette Season 16.
Ivan decided to get a little sexy with his alone time with Tayshia and blindfolded her for a quick taste testing session. What started off as berries ended up as a full-on make-out that no one was mad about. You go, Ivan.
This move clearly paid off and Ivan later received the group date rose for his efforts. These two have crazy chemistry and I can’t wait to see where this goes!
Did Noah shave off his mustache for no reason? Will Bennett get better at math? And will Ivan get more private time to show off his lip-locking skills? Tune in next week to find out!
The Bachelorette Season 16 airs every Tuesday on ABC at 8 PM EST!
