The Bachelorette Season 16: Bachelor Odds after Week 6
By Bachelor Bob
The Bachelorette Season 16: Paradise All-Stars
These guys won’t be winning it all, but they’ll be sure to make a splash (lol, get it?) in Paradise.
9. Chasen (15-1)
I think I’ve said enough about Chasen, but I’d be remiss to not point out that this man has dubbed himself, “Wolverine” and throws around the word “smokeshow” to describe his potential life partner. If that doesn’t paint a picture about how douchey and/or immature this guy seems, then I’m not sure what else to say. I will admit that a lot of this is likely editing and I’m sure that Chasen is a nice guy, but man, this was a tough week for him and also for people who may have said that he could be the next Tyler C. (I’m looking at myself here – OOPS!). Tayshia did keep him around though, which means he has a chance!
8. Joe (15-1)
If ABC doesn’t start to show more of Dr. Joe, then we will riot at dawn. That’s all there is to say. This guy is the total package and week after week, ABC continues to not give him the screen time that he deserves.
7. Bennett (10-1)
Bennett is quite possibly one of my favorite members of Bachelor Nation of all time. Each week he ratchets up his game and gets better and better. While he apparently forgot how to spell and do simple mathematics, he just continues to be the suavest man on planet earth and Tayshia L-O-V-E-S it. He also got under Chasen’s skin with little-to-no effort, which seems to be par for the course.
6. Ben (10-1)
Poor Ben. A sensitive, gentle giant. All he wants to do is spend time with Tayshia and to get to know her. He doesn’t want to deal with the drama. He sat back a little too much this week, though. He’s really going to have to make a strong impression next episode or he could fall even further in the rankings.
5. Spencer (8-1)
The Bachelorette Season 16: Hometown Heroes
These guys are definitely making it to hometowns. I’m not sure how hometowns are going to work during The Bachelorette Season 16. Maybe a PowerPoint about the town with family calling in via Zoom? Regardless, these guys are the odds-on favorites to take home the final rose.
4. Ivan (8-1)
Ivan powered his way into the top four this week after another strong showing and a pretty passionate kiss with our Bachelorette.
3. Zac C. (5-1)
2. Noah (5-1)
Noah. I’m not really sure what to say. This guy is kind of an enigma. He seems like the best and worst person at the same time. It’s hard to get a read on him. Kudos to him for getting oiled up in his cuffed jeans to fill in for cowardly Ed in the wrestling match. That was pretty impressive. And the fact that he shaved his beloved mustache for a woman who he met a few days prior? Wow. He basically went from Pornstache to Twilight Taylor Lautner in the blink of an eye. Night and day.
1. Brendan (5-1)
Brendan gets the number one slot here because he did just enough to make a good impression this week. He kept his head down and had a few good conversations with Tayshia, including showing her how to thrust on the back of a toy horse as the end-of-episode credits began to roll. In a very tight battle, I’m still going to give him the edge…for now.
*Not Ranked: Eazy
Trigger Warning: Eazy emerged as an early fan favorite, but starting midway through the premiere, allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman emerged on Twitter and Reddit. Allegedly there have been attempts made to contact Bachelorette production and legal action has been taken. While we’re still learning the details and cannot confirm the veracity of these allegations, we believe it’s important to err on the side of believing women and have therefore chosen to leave Eazy off our power rankings indefinitely.
We’ve had almost two full hours to watch Tayshia interact with these men. Who do you think she connected with? Who are your favorites? Let me know in the comments!
Tune in to watch Tayshia continue her journey to find love on Tuesday, 11/17 at 8/7c on ABC!
