Uh oh. It looks like Nick Viall has very strong feelings about one of the contestants on The Bachelorette, and certainly not in a good way.

On Twitter, Viall is not-so-subtly dragging contestant Ed Waisbrot after the events of last night’s episode for all the world to see.

While some seem to be on Nick Viall’s side, many Bachelor Nation fans are not here for his not-so-nice words one bit. In his Ed-dragging tweet, the former Bachelor wrote, “Ed is the guy who constantly gets friend zoned and spreads rumors about the guys the women like instead of him,” adding the Bachelorette hashtag.

So the question is, was what Nick had to say about Ed meant in good humor? The fans don’t seem to think so. In turn, many have begun dragging Nick in response, and coming to Ed’s defense online. One

Reddit user

reposted his “mean tweet” with the caption, “Nick with another ice cold take. Yikes buddy.” Yikes, indeed.

Many on Reddit say that not only is his “ice cold take” mean spirited, but that it’s also incredibly immature, especially coming from a man Nick’s age. One person replied, “Hey is Nick projecting here? At what age will he stop this foolishness?” Another chimed in, “Nick: 40 yrs old and still not a grown a*s man.”

Even fans of the franchise who seemingly don’t care for the season 16 contestant weren’t cool with what Nick said about him, mostly on principal. In the same Reddit thread, someone else responded, “Not a fan of Ed, but this is just a bad take.”

As of right now, Nick Viall has yet to respond to all the Bachelorette backlash surrounding his “bad take.” Online, the general consensus seems to remain that if he doesn’t have anything nice to tweet about Ed, or any of the other contestants, maybe he’s better off not tweeting about them at all.
