Bennett has a hard time proving the value of his Harvard degree in tonight’s hilarious promo of The Bachelorette.
Bennett Jordan has had no qualms about mentioning he went to Harvard ever since he set foot on the set of The Bachelorette. But what came off as pretentious in the beginning has somehow melted the hearts of Bachelor Nation over these last few weeks.
Bennett went from “we’re not sure about this guy” to the Clark Kent of The Bachelorette with a fancy shoe collection and some killer outfits. We’re not sure how it happened but he’s made a place for himself on Tayshia’s season, and while I’m fairly certain he won’t be one of the last men standing, we’re very likely to see him on Bachelor in Paradise in the future.
What happens with Bennett in tonight’s episode of The Bachelorette?
Adorable Bachelor Nation couple Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon stop by tonight’s episode to do the customary check-in with the season’s lead and to evaluate the remaining contestants. There have been quite the hilarious moments to come out of these visits from various alums and celebrities over the years, but this one I’m particularly excited about.
The couple will be evaluating the intelligence of the remaining contestants, and naturally, Bennett feels he is most equipped to pass any test thrown his way, because, well, he went to Harvard.
However, this exclusive Entertainment Weekly promo proves he may not have gotten the most out of that prestigious degree. But hey, it’s okay, we forgive him. He’s still a cutie pie in our eyes.
When Ashley presents a math problem to the men, everyone but Bennett seems to get the answer right. Yikes, Bennett, Yikes. And then when they’re asked to spell the word ‘limousine’, he spells it as ‘limosine’.
If you listen carefully, you’ll hear Ashley’s shock as to Bennett being the Harvard man. But again, his adorable smile and embarrassment all but make up for him constantly showing off about Harvard.
Bennett may not know how to spell or perform math problems, but his Clark Kent ways have won us over!
Tune in for an all-new episode of The Bachelorette tonight on ABC at 8 PM EST!
