Top 3: The Bachelorette Season 16, episode 5 rankings

The journey everyone had been waiting for finally began on Tuesday night as Tayshia took over our leading lady role on The Bachelorette Season 16. And Bachelor Nation rejoiced!

The Bachelorette Season 16 has been…interesting, but luckily we had something exciting and new to look forward to. Yes, with Clare and Dale and their love at first sight, happily ever after, two weeks to engagement story at an end, it was time for Tayshia to shine and meet the remaining men in the hopes that they would forget Clare and fall for her instead.

We had 16 original hopefuls and the addition of four new faces and it was game on like it was night one of the season all over again! To be honest this episode was exactly what I had hoped the season would be and what Clare could never give us. Tayshia Adams is a queen!

But with new and old mixing together, and some much-needed screen time from dudes who we barely saw before, who stepped it up and made our Top 3 power rankings?

#1: Spencer

The first impression rose rarely lies and new boy, Spencer, stole the show and Tayshia’s attention and takes our top spot in the rankings of The Bachelorette Season 16 this week.

Spencer came in “hot, hot, hot,” per our Bachelorette, and ruffled the feathers of the OG crew of men almost immediately with his confidant swagger and taunting words. Unfortunately, for the salty 16, Tayshia was too distracted by his looks and charm and she fell for Spencer right away. She sealed the first impression rose with her first kiss of the season thus ensuring the jealousy/irritation towards Spencer would continue.

And did it ever work! Riley came after Spencer both with his “accidental” elbow in the pool and with his “lunch meat” insults at the cocktail party. Spencer, you are 100% a target for the dudes at this point. Lucky for you Tayshia is smitten! I think Spencer will be around for a long, long time.

#2: Brendan

The guy who I could not remember his name to save my life finally escaped the group collective and had plenty of screen time and Tayshia time on this week’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 16! Brendan, my man, you are number two in our rankings!

Brendan pulled out his best turtleneck to meet our newest Bachelorette and swept Tayshia off her feet to get that coveted first one-on-one date. The pair rode horses around the resort as Chris Harrison tried to interrupt the blooming love to no avail. Bonding over their previous divorces, Brendan and Tayshia got emotionally and physically closer that evening as they kissed under a sky of fireworks that I’m convinced took the entire show’s travel budget. Brendan gets a rose and moves on!

#3: Zac C.

The true romantic who last week stated that, “There’s more love to give here and more love to receive”, had his moment in the sun with Tayshia, and proved to her that he is definitely a man deserving of love. Zac C. rounds out our top 3 this week.

With his adorable make a wish in the fountain alone time with our girl, Zac had Tayshia wishing for more time with the guy who “felt like he was supposed to be there.” Can you say swoon?? These two are too cute together and I can’t wait to see where things go with this pair of lovebirds.

And with no rose ceremony, everyone moves on to next week!
