What does the latest Bachelorette promo tell us about Tayshia Adams’ season?

Tayshia Adams is all set to make her debut as the Bachelorette tonight! 

Tayshia Adams is in, Clare Crawley is out! As we witnessed over the last few weeks, Bachelorette Clare Crawley and contestant Dale Moss shared electrifying chemistry. To the point where we weren’t sure how the season was going to continue with her shunning every man on there not named Dale.

Fast forward four episodes and we see Clare Crawley exit the show with fiance Dale (YES! He proposes; she says yes!). Cue Tayshia Adams along with a brand new promo!

What does the new promo tell us about Tayshia Adams and her season?

Well, let’s start off by checking out the promo below first:

ABC finally teased this promo for the “new” season for Adams a few days ago as she rocked the stage with dress changes and a powerful “The rumors are true” slogan at the end.

She stuns the new promo poster wearing an elaborate concoction of gossip/rumor headers and articles on the bottom half of her dress. Adams is holding a single-stemmed red rose with the headline “The rumors end now”, but in the new promo trailer, things don’t look so easy breezy for her on the season ahead.

So of course, the drama has to continue. I mean it’s what we all look forward to every week, am I right?!

The trailer teases her kissing several men, having them reveal that they are developing feelings for her, cutting to her dad asking “Why him? As your father, it’s my job to protect you from making possibly the biggest mistake of your life.”

Yikes, is she choosing someone who isn’t there for the right reasons?

Allow us to reintroduce our latest Bachelorette, Tayshia Adams

So before we start tonight’s episode, let’s recap what we know about Tayshia. She’s 30, has been married and divorced prior to ever being on the show, and besides being a contestant on The Bachelor was also on Bachelor in Paradise (remember John Paul Jones?).

According to her recent interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Adams says she was notified about being the new Bachelorette “sometime in the summer” and had to scramble to get to the resort and quarantine in time for the show. She had no idea that she was the replacement Bachelorette for Crawley.

However she made it here, we’re excited to see her on this new journey and hopefully, find a happy ending!
