Tayshia Adams is expected to replace Clare Crawley as The Bachelorette, but when exactly will Tayshia’s Bachelorette journey begin?
Season 16 of The Bachelorette will go down in Bachelor Nation history as one of the most memorable and talked about seasons of all-time.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, ABC was forced to hit pause on production for several months resulting in the need to send the casted bachelors and the Bachelorette herself, Clare Crawley, back home. After leaving them in a weird state of limbo for several months, the season was finally able to start filming in a Bachelorette bubble this spring setting the stage for a fall season. Oddly enough, that’s not the craziest part of the season though.
Ever since production on The Bachelorette season 16 began, the rumor mill has been running rampant with speculation about Clare blowing up The Bachelorette.
Warning: Potential spoilers ahead.
As reports suggest, Clare fell so hard for contestant Dale Moss, she literally decided to walk away from the show early leaving ABC scrambling to pick up the remains of the season. Enter Tayshia Adams.
With Clare leaving the show earlier than expected, production is said to have tapped the fan-favorite Tayshia, who first appeared on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor, to help fill the void left by Clare’s abrupt departure. So just might when Tayshia finally make her way to the Bachelor bubble to begin her personal journey as the season’s replacement Bachelorette?
When will Tayshia Adams replace Clare Crawley on The Bachelorette?
At this time, it’s important to note that ABC has not yet confirmed Tayshia Adams’ involvement with season 16; however, several reputable sources have all reported Tayshia will indeed step in to take over for Clare once she throws in the towel. What is unknown is when exactly Tayshia will finally make her debut.
As Reality Steve previously reported, Clare only stuck around for two rose ceremonies before professing her love for Dale and deciding she had achieved her goal of finding someone to share her life with. Should this indeed prove to be true, it seems highly likely Tayshia could be formally introduced as the new Bachelorette as early as The Bachelorette season 16 episode 4.

To recap, Clare handed out her first bunch of roses as the first episode of the season came to a close. While we expected a second rose ceremony to take place in the closing moments of episode 2, we were instead gifted with a Clare and Dale makeout scene. As such, it’s expected the second rose ceremony of the season will take place during episode 3, airing Tuesday, Oct. 27.
Given how the promo for episode 3 promises “the biggest twist in Bachelorette history” and features the infamous moment in which Chris Harrison congratulates Clare for blowing up The Bachelorette, it seems highly likely we’re nearing the finish line in Clare’s journey as The Bachelorette.
Unless this is yet another misdirect from ABC with plans to drag the drama out for another episode after the curtain falls on episode 3, it seems safe to assume Tayshia Adams’ official debut as Clare’s replacement will be coming at some point in episode 4 or episode 5, at the latest. As for how the transition will go, well your guess is as good as ours.
