The Bachelorette Season 16
(ABC/Craig Sjodin) CLARE CRAWLEY /

After more than two hundred days between episodes of The Bachelor(ette), we’re finally back to some normalcy and only had to go one week this time. The Bachelorette Season 16 kicked off with a bang one short week ago and production continued to deliver with some incredible drama for Week 2.

Warning: Spoilers from The Bachelorette season 16, Episode 2 ahead!

Ranking the men after The Bachelorette Season 16, Week 1 was tough because there’s just so much going on and there are so many people to keep track of. Night one is great for that reason – after the chaos plays out, the lead traditionally sends home the most people in a single night all season. Somehow, though, after Clare cut eight men last week, it was even more difficult to rank them this week. Not only did we not get a rose ceremony, but it feels like only six or seven of the men had any screen time. It was made even more difficult because half of the men were covered by black boxes for the majority of the time that they were on screen!

With that said, the official Bachelor Bob Power Rankings remain relatively unchanged this week. A few guys who we didn’t see at all night one got some screen time Week 2 and had a bit of a bump in favor of the men who we still haven’t seen. One of the guys even took quite a run at taking over the top spot this week but fell just short. Kidding. No one was even close. Spoiler alert, first place is Dale’s to lose at this point. While the rankings remained relatively stable, the odds dropped significantly for almost everyone not named Dale.

A quick aside – my week of gambling didn’t start off particularly great. My money was on Team Blue Balls but that clearly didn’t work out, much to the chagrin of Blake Moynes.

Before we jump into the rankings, let’s take a moment to pour one out for Brandon, who couldn’t provide Clare with one single reason for him being there other than the fact that she’s beautiful. After several months of quarantine, knowing that he’d be vying for Clare’s heart, he apparently didn’t use the Google machine even once to find something out about her. Tough L, my man. See you in Paradise.
