Who went home on The Bachelorette tonight, October 20?
By Cody Schultz
Episode 2 of The Bachelorette season 16 saw Clare thin out her group of suitors (just not by much) in a dramatic episode. See who Clare Crawley sent home and who remains!
What episode 1 lacked in drama, episode 2 of The Bachelorette more than made up for! After a slower start to the season than anticipated, the season finally started progressing nicely in an episode that brought with it the first dates of the season including our first one-on-one date and first two group dates!
Curious to know which season 16 bachelors were the latest to be shown the door during The Bachelorette season 16 episode 2? Let’s take a look at which men we bid farewell tonight and who’s still left vying for Clare’s affection!
Who was sent home on The Bachelorette in season 16 episode 2?
Unlike the premiere, episode 2 wasted no time in diving right into things beginning with the night’s first group date which saw nine of the guys joining Clare for a crash course in “the language of love.” Between the random gift-giving and awkward physical touch segment, it was quite an interesting date which ended with a surprise suitor getting a rose.
From there, we moved on to an emotionally heavy one-on-one date between Clare and Jason in which the former NFL player poured his heart out. Dale might be Clare’s favorite, but Jason is quickly emerging as one of ours!
Following the one-on-one, ten men joined Clare for a cringe-worthy game of strip dodgeball which ended with the losing team feeling a bit violated. The winners then got the chance to enjoy some time with Clare, until Blake Moynes crashed the party and quickly sent the winners into a frenzy. While it could have led to his demise, Clare surprised him with a rose anyway because, why not?
Shockingly, episode 2 ended without a rose ceremony with only one man being shown to the door this week and he only had himself to blame.
Before handing out a rose to Blake Moynes, Clare showed Brandon the door following a less than memorable chat in which essentially revealed he knows next to nothing about Clare and was unable to share even one reason for his being there. Don’t color us surprised by Clare sending Brandon home for not knowing anything about her…
