When will The Bachelorette Season 16 premiere if the NBA finals go to game 7?

The Bachelorette Season 16 faces a potential delay–and we can blame the NBA finals for that.
The Bachelorette Season 16 is literal days away from its premiere, but yet, it could face yet another delay if the NBA finals go to game 7. Yes, that’s right. If the NBA finals don’t end by game 6, Bachelor Nation will have to hang in there for one more week before we see Clare Crawley’s season begin to unfold.
Anyone else feeling just a little bit salty over this? I mean I love basketball but come on, we’ve waited months for The Bachelorette Season 16. I don’t want to wait another week (insert crying emoji here), but there’s a slight chance we might have to.
Statistically, will we really have to wait?
Well, for all you folks out there that don’t care for basketball, the odds could be in our favor considering the Los Angeles Lakers are currently up 3-1. They only have to win one more game to win the NBA finals, so statistically, the chances weigh heavily in their favor.
The next game is Friday, Oct. 9th, and if the Miami Heat ends up winning that one, the following game will be on Sunday, Oct. 11th. And of course, if there is a game 7, we all know when the final game will be, sigh.
Essentially, the first team to win four games takes home the trophy, and the LA Lakers are extremely close to taking it all. Any other year, I’d be glued to my television screen during the NBA finals hoping we could go to game 7, for the sake of the thrill. But given this will potentially impact The Bachelorette Season 16 premiere, I’m feeling a bit differently this time around.
When will The Bachelorette Season 16 premiere if there is a game 7?
Well, there isn’t any official confirmation as of yet since everything is contingent on the next couple of games. However, my assumption would be that we’d have to wait until Oct. 20th, one week after the original premiere date. Again, this isn’t confirmed, but I can only assume that they would push it by a week. Any more than that and Bachelor Nation will riot.
Seriously, we will not be happy.
Whether or not you watch basketball, I have a sneaking suspicion that Bachelor Nation fans may be paying more attention during the next NBA finals game.
