The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever: 3 Juan Pablo Galavis moments we did not see

Sharleen Joynt gets the first impression rose
Sharleen! One of the best contestants to ever grace the Bachelor stage. A world traveling, analytical opera singer, she never fit into the typical mold of a Bachelor contestant, and that was never more apparent than on the first night in the mansion.
Juan Pablo was immediately taken with Sharleen, telling her she had mundo and bonding with her about living in a foreign country. He proceeded to offer her the coveted first impression rose after their conversation, and things got deliciously awkward when it became apparent he had not made a very good first impression on her.
Sharleen said in an interview early in the night that she expected more of a connection with Juan Pablo right off the bat, since the meeting had been built up so much. Obviously Juan Pablo Galavis didn’t feel the same way, and seemed very sure about offering her the rose. It was beyond obvious Sharleen was caught off guard by the offer, and responded with a long pause and finally said, “Sure.”
It was the most real receipt of a rose I’ve ever seen, and reminded us all that just because a man is the Bachelor, it doesn’t mean every woman will fall head over heels! It was so refreshing to see a woman not be immediately charmed by the lead just because he’s the man who was selected. Thank you, Sharleen!
