Raven Gates

You know that moment on Bachelor Nation shows when it’s time for the proposals and you know the lead isn’t going to pick the person they are talking to. You can literally see the light leave the eyes of the contestant, and it’s a feeling that resonates with all of us watching.

Such was the case with Raven Gates, the runner-up of The Bachelor Season 21. She was definitely not expecting it, and she confirmed as much while talking to Chris Harrison during The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever. I don’t blame the girl, Nick was definitely going back and forth on the days leading up to the proposal.

In any case and with a twist of luck and fate, Raven has found love since that day with fellow Bachelor Nation alum, Adam Gottschalk, whom she met during the fourth season of Bachelor in Paradise. The couple got engaged in June 2019, and had plans to get married this year, but due to the coronavirus pandemic  has had to reschedule their big day three times.

Fourth time’s the charm–we hope!

Rachel Lindsay

Obviously, Rachel Lindsay and Nick Viall did not end up together during The Bachelor Season 21, but she went on to make Bachelor Nation history as the first Black Bachelorette. And she left her season engaged to contestant Bryan Abasolo. The couple got married in August 2019, and have been happily married since then.

While Rachel has moved on in every sense of the word, we won’t soon forget Nick’s hometown date with her family in which he was heavily grilled by her family over the topic of being an interracial couple.

It was quite an experience for Nick, but I’d have to say he handled it pretty well!
