The beach volleyball incident

Midway through the season, Nick took a group of girls to the beach to play a friendly game of volleyball. Sounds fun, right? Wrong. The game soon took a very dark turn, but editing cut out so much we didn’t really get to see why. All we saw were several of the women in tears, talking over ominous music about how hard the day was and how frustrated they were.

However, never fear! Rachel Lindsay finally addressed this mystery while discussing Arie’s season of The Bachelor. I’m sure we all remember the infamous Krystal Nielson meltdown, after Arie allowed all the women to come to an after party after half of them lost at bowling. She was frustrated that he changed his mind and that they were competing for nothing.

Well, apparently, the case was much the same during the volleyball episode. Rachel suggested the women were competing for who got to go to the after party, but Nick ended up letting everyone come and some of the women did not take it well. It would have been great for the recap to take the opportunity to clear up this mysterious date years later!

Overall, this week was a great trip down memory lane as Nick’s season will forever be one of my favorites!
