The Bachelorette Season 16: New poster raises burning questions

We’ve got some questions about The Bachelorette Season 16 poster.

The Bachelorette Season 16 officially has a premiere date–and a new poster. After Clare Crawley was replaced with Tayshia Adams as the new Bachelorette, ABC finally announced this week that their newest season will air on October 13.

With the announcement and premiere date reveal came a very thought-provoking poster with Crawley posing with a long-stemmed rose in hand–and a mysterious man pulling a grey sock up his leg.

And I say “thought-provoking” because 1)I want to know if this is actually the man that she ends up with (Dale Moss, is that you?), as we know that Tayshia allegedly replaced Clare after she found her soulmate, and 2) What is actually going to happen this season? Will it actually be the “most dramatic season ever seen?”–as Chris Harrison loves to say.

The Instagram caption for the release of the poster says, “Get ready Bachelor Nation! Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette premieres Tuesday, October 13th at 8/7c on ABC. It’s about time.”

It really is.

The Bachelorette Season 16 poster pays homage to a classic movie

The poster is also a tribute to 1967 movie The Graduate that shows Dustin Hoffman watching his leading lady pull off her hosiery. Supposedly this poster mirrors the real life love story between Crawley, 39, and her new man, Bachelorette contestant Dale Moss.

As we already have gathered, The Bachelorette Season 16 has been filming in Palm Springs and has had several previous Bachelor alums like JoJo Fletcher, who filled in as host for two weeks while Harrison was dropping his son off to college, Sydney Lotuaco, Becca Kufrin, Ashley Iaconetti, and Hannah Ann Sluss spotted dropping in and out of the house they were filming at.

Even Wells Adams was spotted on set doing his usual bartending gig, so we’re definitely curious to see where this season is going to take us.

I’m certainly looking forward to seeing all these things unfold and I hope we get to see a smidge of the love story that happens between Clare Crawley and Moss, along with Tayshia finding her man!
