What’s the deal with Becca Kufrin and Garrett Yrigoyen?

Becca Kufrin’s latest post sheds some light on split rumors (well, sort of).

Becca Kufrin has been under the spotlight a lot recently amidst the rumors she and fiancé Garrett Yrigoyen have broken up. We spoke about this in an earlier post but it seems like in the days since there hasn’t been any confirmation from either side.

I know that because we view them as celebrities of sorts, we expect to know everything and anything about them. But the reality is, they are people just like us, and they have a right to figure things out without reporting it to the media.

Some will argue that they knew this was the life they were signing up for. But I think despite that, they are still entitled to live their lives in private, especially when it comes to matters of the heart. It takes a toll on the average person, so I can’t imagine the impact it has on those in the spotlight.

And with that, I’m sure many of you have noticed that Becca Kufrin took to Instagram to share an optimistic post just this week. Her caption reads, “Finding the light”, which of course can and will be interpreted in many ways.

Whatever might be going on between her and Yrigoyen, it’s obvious that she is trying to get through it however she can. They’ve both been under the media microscope, and Bachelor Nation is on the edge of their seats in hopes of hearing something official from either of them.

My personal opinion? Let them figure it out and if/when they want to tell the world, they will. Until then, they should be given their personal space to figure it out, especially Becca Kufrin who has had to deal with controversies surrounding Yrigoyen in the past. The girl has been through the wringer since she joined Bachelor Nation, so at the very least, I think she deserves a beat to get things sorted out.

Given that the two of them seem to be living in different states, I think sooner or later, Bachelor Nation will learn what’s going on with them. Interestingly enough, Kufrin was seen at the La Quinta Resort (along with half of Bachelor Nation, apparently) on the set of The Bachelorette, so I’m curious to learn what that is all about.

Is there going to be a segment for newly single people, perhaps? Not likely, given Ashley Iaconetti and Sydney Lotuaco were both spotted there as well, and are both in relationships. Seriously, that season can’t air soon enough, we really need to know what’s happening there.
