The Bachelorette Season 12: A look back at JoJo Fletcher

Robby Hayes tells JoJo he’s fallen in love…on his first date!

Before Robby Hayes romanced Amanda Stanton on Bachelor in Paradise, he was one of JoJo Fletcher’s final two men on The Bachelorette. Robby solidified his place in the final two when he told JoJo he had fallen in love with her on their first one on one date, which she apparently liked!

The Bachelorette is no stranger to premature love confessions, but most contestants soften it by saying they’re “falling” in love, or they could see themselves falling in love. Not Robby. He went straight for the gold. No time to waste! JoJo may have enjoyed this, but I just couldn’t get on board with Robby after this love confession.

After the Final Rose

Jojo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers were an obvious match from the very first night, and it was no surprise when JoJo gave Jordan her final rose of the season and he accepted. However, it was not all smooth sailing from there. The couple appeared on “After the Final Rose” in noticeably dour moods, describing how hard the last couple months had been, due to the media’s focus on how Jordan Rodgers couldn’t be trusted. Someone actually went to the trouble of setting up a fake Tinder account in Jordan’s name to make it look like he was cheating!

JoJo and Jordan really pulled back the curtain on just how hard post-show life can be, especially when the couple doesn’t have the media’s support. Thankfully, though the couple has revealed they almost broke up at one point, they are still a happy couple and planning to get married very soon! In JoJo’s words, “fight for the fairytale, it does exist.”
